His Eminence Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche visited northeastern Indian state of Sikkim in March, 2024, and gave precious teachings on the foundations of Buddhist path to over 1000 locals at Phodong Monastery, North Sikkim. He also guided meditation sessions and gave hands-on advice in taking the practice of meditation to everyday life. At the conclusion of the 3-day tour, Rinpoche gave long-life empowerment of Amitayus to a large gathering of people coming from different parts of Sikkim.
Rinpoche also paid a visit to His Eminence the 12th Gyaltsab Rinpoche, a highly respected Buddhist master and incarnate lama of the Karma Kagyu lineage, at Ralang Monastery in South Sikkim.
